Supporting Learning Differences In Manufacturing
Exploring Employer and Employee Toolkits
Join EMC for a practical, virtual session designed to help manufacturers explore the resources available through the Supporting Learning Differences program.
This session will dive into EMC’s Supporting Learning Differences in Manufacturing Employer and Employee Toolkits and highlight how these resources can help workplaces strengthen training, improve communication, support employee success, and build more inclusive and productive manufacturing environments. The toolkits include practical guidance on recognizing learning differences, accessible training and communication practices, accommodations, disclosure, supervisor responses, quick-start checklists, and real-world workplace examples.
During this session, participants will get an overview of each toolkit, learn how the materials can be applied in real workplace settings, and hear how employers and employees can use these tools to support onboarding, training, retention, and day-to-day performance. The session will also create space for employers to share feedback on the resources, identify what additional supports would be most useful, and explore employee supports available through this initiative.
This session is ideal for manufacturing employers, supervisors, HR professionals, trainers, and workplace leaders who want practical tools they can start using right away.
