Central Ontario

Welcome to our Simcoe County and Muskoka/Parry Sound EMC Consortium Page.

For those of you that have been EMC Members for many years you will be familiar with all of what EMC has to offer. If you are new to a Member company and would like to know more about what is available to you, please feel free to contact me and I can go over what is available to you and the benefits to be working for a company that is an EMC Member. Not a member yet? I will be happy to introduce you to EMC.

I have the pleasure of supporting manufacturers in this area with all the activities, services and programs EMC has to offer. If you are not aware of what these are, I am more than happy to take a few minutes to walk you through some of the benefits. I would also like to invite you to attend any one of our Monthly Networking meetings which give Members a chance to discuss current challenges, issues, best practices etc. with others in similar roles. These are very informal open discussions and usually last for 1 ½ hours. Each month, we will have our IT, Senior Managers, Quality/Production/CI/ME and E, H&S or HR groups meeting. I will be sending out the invitations a couple of weeks prior to the monthly meetings and certainly encourage to attend. Please join us if you can. We have Professionals from Member companies like Canplas, Baytech Plastics, Environmental Systems, Garaga, Innovative Automation, Georgian Bay Fabrics, Weldco-Beales, Kubota, Franke Kindred, Gluecker Metal, Tag Environmental, Elcan, to name a few, that attend. We have 40+ Member companies in this EMC Consortium area; manufacturers across several sectors including automotive, aerospace, medical, construction, infrastructure, large equipment, mining, recreational, plastics molding, steel fabrication, residential/commercial/industrial, etc, etc. Geographically located from Thornbury, through Collingwood, Barrie, Orillia, up to Midland/Penetanguishene and to Bracebridge and Huntsville and over the Parry Sound.

As a previous EMC Member while at TRW (ZF), I can vouch for the many advantages of being connected with EMC and our many Members. With the dynamic and significant challenges, you face daily, whether it relates to supply chain disruptions, labour shortages, employee recruiting, hiring, retention, ever changing Government regulations, financing etc., etc. we can help, either with internal expertise or by connecting you with our Expert partners or with other EMC Member companies that may have solutions to your needs.

Please check out the EMC webpage to review all the Programs and Events available to you, and as always, if there is any way I can help, do not hesitate to ask.
