EMC Canada

British Columbia

Like our members and the manufacturing sector in general, EMC continues to tackle issues and opportunities created by global dynamics by developing programming to assist the manufacturing sector. From our Global Skills Connection program — a series of workshops aimed at helping manufacturers with Canada’s business immigration system to our Energy Program to our WILWorks student placement suite of programs to our Manufacturing Masters on-demand video learning library to the 100 plus courses offered by our Learning Centre, there is an EMC program that can help manufacturers grow and prosper.

These programs, resources and services undoubtedly led to EMC membership growing by over 15%, with our manufacturing audience growing by 26% in 2022. This growth resulted in our programs, resources and services being available to over 36,000 new manufacturing contacts, representing 20,000+ manufacturing firms across the country. I encourage you to register for or keep checking out EMC's National and Western Canadian email updates or our website to learn more about our various programs, resources, and services.

Further, over the past few years, I have enjoyed learning more about our members, their products, and their various success stories. I want to thank our members and community partners not only for their support, but also for their willingness to share ideas, suggestions and information about the issues and opportunities they are encountering on a regular basis.

I look forward to being here to not only support you, but also to connect you with the many EMC programs, resources, services, and benefits that are there to help you attain success.

I find great value from participating in the EMC Continuous Improvement Roundtable and the opportunity to connect with like minded peers. It is a great resource for best practice sharing, and support for problem solving. EMC is also a great platform for personal and team development with its wide range of webinars, and training programs. Kevin Raffle, Woodtone Industries
