Empower3D Program

With training currently underway throughout the province of BC, participants are preparing for employment. This exciting initiative connects employers with youth (ages 15–30) who bring exceptional skills and diverse abilities to the manufacturing sector. This project is in conjunction with Neil Squire – a Canadian non-profit empowering people with disabilities through technology since 1984 who have successfully trained and integrated thousands of clients into the workforce. Empower3D is one of their many programs offered.

What Employers Get:

  • Access to job-ready participants trained in key technical and workplace skills
  • 12-week work placements – with wage subsidies available up to $7,000
  • Option to transition placements into permanent roles
  • A chance to support inclusive hiring and tap into a diverse talent pipeline

Participant Skills and Credentials May Include:

  • Manufacturing Foundations Micro-credential
  • Advanced Computer Technology Skills
  • Hardware/Software Skills
  • FOODSAFE Certification
  • Problem Solving Skills
