A national safety discussion
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
WHMIS a comprehensive system for providing health and safety information on hazardous products intended for use, handling, or storage in Canadian workplaces. Join us for a review of regulatory amendments made to the Hazardous Products Regulations.
The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is Canada’s hazard communication standard. The key elements of the system are: hazard classification, cautionary labelling of containers, the provision of safety data sheets (SDSs) and worker education programs.
Suppliers, employers, and workers each have requirements under WHMIS.
Join us on January 29, to review the regulatory amendments made to the Hazardous Products Regulation. The amendments provide a 3-year transition period, ending on December 14, 2025.
