Strengthening Technical Skills through Accessible, Hands-On Learning
VR Training Pilot info Session
Join this information session to learn about EMC’s new VR Training Pilot, a hands-on virtual training experience that uses realistic virtual simulations of manufacturing equipment to help employees build technical troubleshooting skills in a safe, accessible, and practical way.
The pilot builds on the WILWorks Skilled Trades in Advanced Manufacturing / MEC Maintenance Worker programs and is delivered as part of EMC’s Supporting Learning Differences in Manufacturing initiative to reduce learning barriers and support diverse learning styles.
Participants engage with digital twins of real equipment to practice recognizing machine functions, understanding key components, and working through common breakdown and troubleshooting scenarios — helping build confidence and strengthen communication between operators and maintenance teams.
We’ll cover what the pilot is, who it’s for, how it works, and how employers can participate. This pilot opportunity is available to employers with employees currently enrolled in or have recently completed EMC’s Skilled Trades in Advanced Manufacturing Program.
