Building Better Teams Through Inclusion
Supporting Learning Differences Initiative
Join this interactive session featuring the Ontario Disability Employment Network (ODEN) to learn how inclusive workplace practices can strengthen recruitment, retention, and performance in manufacturing — and how EMC’s Supporting Learning Differences in Manufacturing initiative can support employees on the job.
In this session, ODEN will share employer-focused insights on the benefits of disability-inclusive workplaces, practical ways to reduce barriers to employment, and how inclusion supports stronger business outcomes.
EMC will also introduce its Supporting Learning Differences in Manufacturing initiative and outline the confidential, fully funded resources available to help employees better understand how they learn, strengthen their workplace performance, and build long-term success.
By attending, you’ll learn about:
- The business benefits of inclusive workplace practices including improved retention, engagement, and access to talent.
- How inclusive approaches help reduce barriers for employees with disabilities and learning differences.
- How EMC’s Supporting Learning Differences in Manufacturing initiative helps identify and support learning barriers that impact training, performance, and safety.
- The types of supports available to employees, including learning profile tools, one-on-one coaching, and personalized workplace strategies.
