Understanding the Experience of Women at Work
Silence Isn’t Safety
Psychological safety for women in manufacturing isn’t just a women’s issue, it’s a signal of whether your workplace is truly safe, inclusive, and high performing. When women feel heard, respected, and supported, the whole team benefits. This series explores how gendered experiences shape safety and trust at work and how employers can shift culture, not just policy.
Silence Isn’t Safety Session:
This session explores how women’s experiences, especially in male-dominated environments, are shaped by power dynamics, subtle exclusions, and unspoken rules. It looks at the cost of cultures where women feel they can’t speak up, make mistakes, or be themselves.
Objectives:
- Define psychological safety and what it looks like in practice
- Explore how gendered experiences affect confidence, voice, and team contribution
- Understand the emotional toll
- Reflect on how these dynamics ripple through team culture and trust
