About the Presenters:

Sarah McInnes is an Immigration Lawyer based in McInnes Cooper’s Halifax office. Sarah provides strategic and practical advice to a wide range of clientele with Canadian immigration issues, from corporations seeking labour market impact assessments and strategies to hire temporary foreign workers to individuals seeking visas, study permits, work permits and permanent residency. Sarah is past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association-NS Branch Citizenship and Immigration Section and serves on the Board of Directors of the YMCA and the Board of Governors of NSCAD.

Hanaa Al Sharief is an Immigration Lawyer based in McInnes Cooper’s Halifax office. Bilingual in Arabic and English, Hanaa has more than a decade of global working experience. Hanaa delivers cost-effective and strategic advice to both corporate and individual clients in all areas of Canadian business and personal immigration law, including the transfer and recruitment of foreign workers to Canada under federal and provincial immigration programs, compliance reviews and inspection audits and immigration strategies to obtain temporary and permanent residence status in Canada.
