Part of our 2023 Plant Tour Series
Mrs. Dunster's Plant Tour
Mrs. Dunster’s is somewhat of a tradition here in NB with over 50 years of baking excellence and many of us have over-indulged on their tasty product. Let’s take a look behind the scene and see how it all comes together as the folks there share the history, and speak frankly about their challenges and successes.
This will be the first of several plant tour events over the coming months.
Regardless of the sector, the components of manufacturing are very much the same; sales, H&S, HR, Finance, production, inventory; the opportunities to see how others do things is a valuable exercise in professional development.
You never know going in what the take-aways will be; it could be as simple as a material handling process or as in depth as a KPI board or how workflow is managed.
The purpose of this series of tours is to:
- Expand scope of knowledge and exposure
- Build on your peer network.
- Benchmark best practices
- Understand abilities and capabilities of hosting companies.
The ideal candidate for these tours is middle to upper management positions.
