Building Safer, Stronger Workplaces

Health and Safety in NS Manufacturing

Thursday, October 1, 2026 at 1:00 PM ADT
Virtual

Join EMC and WCB Nova Scotia for the first in a series of Health & Safety conversations designed specifically for Nova Scotia manufacturers.

This introductory session will provide a practical overview of workplace Health & Safety in today’s manufacturing environment, including the roles we all play in creating safer workplaces and the supports and resources available to help.

David Welsh from WCB Nova Scotia will share insights, practical guidance and resources to help manufacturers strengthen their approach to workplace safety, support their employees and continue building a positive safety culture.

The session will also provide an opportunity for manufacturers to ask questions, share current challenges and identify areas where additional support would be valuable.

Feedback from this discussion will help shape future EMC and WCB Health & Safety sessions, allowing us to take deeper dives into the topics that matter most to manufacturers.

Who should attend?
Manufacturing leaders, supervisors, Health & Safety professionals, HR professionals and anyone involved in supporting workplace safety and employee wellbeing.
