8:45 AM – Just Us! Coffee Roasters Co-op (Grand Pré, NS): Kick off the day with an in-depth tour of a facility that is setting new standards in precision roasting and packaging. Learn about their advanced process optimization techniques and sustainable manufacturing practices that ensure quality and consistency in every batch.
10:00 AM – The Church Brewing Co. (Wolfville, NS): Discover how traditional brewing methods are enhanced with modern automation and quality control systems. This tour will showcase innovative process integration, demonstrating how heritage and technology can work together to achieve superior product consistency and efficiency.
1:45 PM – Horton Ridge Malt (Grand Pré, NS): Explore the advanced malting processes that are reshaping the malt production landscape. Learn about innovative quality assurance techniques and process automation that ensure a high-quality, consistent product.
2:45 PM – Made with Local (Windsor, NS): End the facility tours by examining how cutting-edge food processing and packaging technologies are applied in producing healthy, handcrafted snacks. This visit highlights the integration of efficiency-driven automation with artisanal quality.
4:00 PM – Return to Sackville: Reflect on a day of hands-on learning, state-of-the-art manufacturing insights and valuable networking as we head back to Sackville (expected arrival around 4:30 PM).
