Defence and Aerospace Discussion
Join us with our partners (Sturgeon County) at Villeneuve Airport on May 14 for a practical and timely round table focused on how Alberta manufacturers can begin exploring opportunities in defence and aerospace. This event will bring together industry voices, regional partners, and manufacturers for a grounded discussion on where companies can start, what challenges they may face, and how to position their capabilities for future growth.
The event will feature networking, a panel discussion, open round table conversation, and a tour of the airport. Discussions will highlight real-world pathways into defence and aerospace manufacturing, the importance of regional collaboration, and the supports available to help companies build visibility and momentum. Attendees will also hear about upcoming opportunities and resources, including CANSEC, EMC events and programming, and help showcase Alberta’s manufacturing capabilities and strengthen supply chain connections.
This event is especially relevant for manufacturers in Sturgeon County, Parkland County, and manufacturers in the City of Edmonton who are looking to diversify, build new relationships, and better position themselves for future growth in strategic industrial sectors.
