Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) eFiling Initiative
Importers of products requiring a Certificate of Compliance (COC) must electronically file the COC through a Partner Government Agency (PGA) message set, supported by the CPSC Product Registry for storing and managing COC data.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) eFiling initiative is a mandatory program requiring importers of regulated consumer products to electronically file (eFile) certificate of compliance data with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) at the time of entry. The initiative, aimed at enhancing safety, speeding up customs reviews, and better targeting risky, noncompliant products, will officially begin on July 8, 2026.
