Alberta’s food and beverage sector is facing growing pressure to adapt to changing markets, shifting trade realities, and ongoing supply chain disruption. At the same time, these challenges are creating new opportunities to think differently about how we source, produce, distribute, and support one another locally.

This in-person round table event at Fort Distillery in Fort Saskatchewan will bring together manufacturers, producers, supply chain partners, and community leaders for a meaningful conversation on Supply Chain Resiliency in Food & Beverage. Together, we will discuss how to create a more connected and sustainable ecosystem that supports local industry while advancing a stronger circular economy across Alberta.

The morning will begin with networking at 8:30 AM, followed by a panel discussion and round table conversation focused on practical challenges, emerging opportunities, and what it will take to build more agile and regionally supportive supply chains. Attendees will also receive an update on EMC’s new programs surrounding supply chain development and tariffs, highlighting tools and supports available to help businesses navigate uncertainty and strengthen competitiveness.

The event will conclude with a guided Fort Distillery tour led by Nathan Flim, offering guests a firsthand look at a local operation and a chance to continue the conversation in a real-world manufacturing environment.

This event is ideal for food and beverage manufacturers, processors, producers, economic development leaders, and partners who are passionate about building stronger local systems and supporting Alberta-made success.
