Train the Trainer
The Train the Trainer Program equips participants with the skills, tools, and confidence to train employees effectively. The program provides practical approaches to peer-to-peer training, mentorship, and knowledge transfer so that critical expertise is shared across the organization. By developing experienced workers into capable trainers, your company improves consistency, safety, and productivity while supporting long-term workforce sustainability. Participants earn a micro-credential for successfully completing the program.

Manufacturing employers face growing challenges related to labour shortages, skills gaps, and succession planning, increasing the need to effectively transfer critical workplace knowledge to the next generation of employees. Many organizations rely heavily on experienced employees who hold valuable tacit knowledge, specialized techniques, and problem-solving expertise that is often undocumented and difficult to replace. This program helps organizations leverage the expertise of experienced employees by equipping them with practical training and mentorship skills, while also introducing strategies to capture, share, and transfer organizational knowledge more effectively across the workforce.
This program is designed for anyone in a formal or informal training role, those working with skilled trade apprentices, individuals involved in work-integrated learning (WILWorks), and experienced employees who have valuable skills and knowledge to share with others.
