Fire is an ever-present danger in any kind of manufacturing workplace and, without being properly addressed by knowledgeable workers, it can cause significant damage to people, property, and the facilities themselves. This brief fire extinguisher safety course instructs participants on all aspects of correctly utilizing the tool, and discusses how it can be employed to prevent the spread of fire across a wide variety of working environments.

Course material also includes a detailed discussion on what causes fire, and examines how to reduce the possibility of combustion through consistently-employed Health and Safety practices. Workers and supervisors from any department or industry can employ the information presented during this session to their own workplace activities, and gain confidence in their ability to address an emergency.

  • Emergency procedures for responding to the presence of fire.
  • Understanding the various forms of fire and fire extinguishers.
