A virtual learning discussion
Women in Skilled Trades Consultative Session for Woman Apprentices and Journeywomen
FOR WOMAN APPRENTICES AND CERTIFIED JOURNEYWOMEN: As part of our upcoming HerJourney Networking Initiative, EMC invites woman apprentices and journeywomen to a consultative session focused on women in manufacturing skilled trades. The session aims to bring woman apprentices and journeywomen together to discuss and explore the unique challenges and opportunities for women pursuing careers in red seal skilled trades in the manufacturing sector.
The learnings from this conversation will help shape the first stages of the networking initiative.
Topics to be explored include:
- Understanding the Current State of the Industry
- Identifying Unique Challenges Faced by Women Apprentices
- Exploring Causes for Non-Completion of Apprenticeship Training
- Collaborative Idea and Solution Generation
- Sharing Insights and Action Plan
Please note this session is designed for women apprentices and journeywomen - please include this in the “Job Title” field on the registration form. If you are an employer, please register for the Employer Session.
If you aren’t able to attend, but wish to contribute, please complete this form and we will be in touch.
