For Atlantic Canadian Manufacturers
WILWorks Youth in Manufacturing Info Session
In this webinar you will learn more, from EMC's WILWorks Youth in Manufacturing project team, about the program and its parameters as well as the roles/responsibilities/expectations of participating businesses.
EMC is excited to be partnered with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) in the launch of the WILWorks Youth in Manufacturing Program. The goal of the WILWorks Youth in Manufacturing Program is to increase awareness of the manufacturing sector as a career destination of choice. Atlantic Canada employers involved in the program will receive mentorship training for current employees at no cost and a financial incentive of up to $2500 for each youth work placement. The program provides eligible participants (aged 16-20) with funded industry recognized training to support a work placement in the manufacturing sector.
This session will provide further background on the program, its parameters, and walk you through the application process.
For more information, in advance of the info session, please visit our WILWorks Youth in Manufacturing web page.
Funded by the Government of Canada through the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).
