The Front Line: Recognizing the 'Super' in Supervisor

Supervisors play a vital role in our organizations, no doubt about it. They’re skilled in technical tasks, oversee day-to-day operations and keep things running smoothly… but there’s more to the job than that!

Wednesday, April 24, 2024, 9:00am AST
Hampshire, PEI

An outstanding supervisor knows that their function goes beyond the items that are listed in their job description, embracing their responsibility to motivate and inspire their teams and contribute to a healthy, positive culture. Is your organization experiencing challenges with recruitment and retention? What’s the general tone in your workplace, and what cultural norms – both helpful and unhelpful – have been adopted? How seriously does the average team member take health and safety, including mental well-being? These things shouldn’t fall solely on the plates of HR and senior leadership; in fact, your supervisors are uniquely positioned to profoundly impact many of the issues we’ve traditionally seen as “high level problems”.

Join EMC and Psychological Health & Safety Consultant Elizabeth Eldridge for an interactive discussion with Managers and Leaders on understanding the true value of qualified supervisors in meaningfully contributing to your organization’s success.
