Preparing your MSD Prevention Program for a Health and Safety Inspection

The goal of the session is to help participants understand the expectations of a Health and Safety Inspector and to be prepared for a potential visit.

This session will discuss:

  • Primary ergonomic workplace hazards
  • Types of injuries and primary causes
  • Areas of focus during Inspections including: manual material handling, ladder use, policies, procedures and training
  • Key strategies to mitigate risk
  • Key components of a successful program

In this session, participants will complete a brief ergonomic audit that will score their workplace’s ergonomic process, identify key components to look for and identify gaps in their program. Tips and strategies to improve your workplace’s ergonomic process will be presented.

ERGO Inc. will provide an Ergonomics Resource Package, including an Ergonomic Audit for organizations to self critique their program.
