EMC is pleased to announce that, with the support of a core group of PEI Executives and Holland College, we will be moving forward with the facilitation of the Business Networking activity for the Manufacturer’s Executive Group which was formerly the PEI Industry Forum.

The PEI Industry Forum was formed at the start of COVID to leverage best practices across PEI manufacturers, unify a common voice to government, and develop action plans to keep these essential businesses moving forward through the pandemic. The past year the focus of the team shifted to scarcity of trades and technical staff as we plan for growth of our businesses during recovery.

This event will be similar to the New Brunswick Owner / CEO group that has been engaging for upward of 15 years; It has been an opportunity for a diverse group of Senior Executives to discuss current challenges and successes in a respectful and confidential environment with an open format and no specific topic defined (unless requested by participants).

Typical Topics may include:

Workforce Development / Immigration
Insurance, Health & Safety, Business Operations
Manufacturing 4.0 / Automation and technology
Access to Capital / Markets / Export trade
Issues effecting positive or negative business conditions.
Organizational capabilities or excess capacity
And many, many more!

The discussions, many times, result in solutions, collaboration, ideas or even some very successful business relationships.

In each community, the participants set their own rules of engagement based on what is most valuable to them. EMC simply becomes the platform to make that happen consistently.
