A Manufacturing Masters Event
Hiring Neurodiverse Workers
With an expected shortage of 60,000 people by 2030 in advanced manufacturing in Ontario alone, we need to look to new solutions to solve the growing talent gap.
What is Neurodiversity?
Neurodiversity is a word used to explain the unique ways people's brains can work. While everyone's brain develops similarly, no two brains function just alike. Being neurodivergent means having a brain that works differently from the average or “neurotypical” person.
Anyone, in any job, can be successful while also being neurodiverse.
Join us, along with our Manufacturing Masters expert Elizabeth Plouffe, to explore the business case in expanding the manufacturing workforce by hiring from the neurodivergent talent pool.
Our events take place on a regular basis, some virtually and some in-person, throughout all of our Consortium regions. As part of your EMC membership, you and your colleagues are invited to participate in any, and all events, that are relevant to your company - in any Consortium region across Canada!
