The Power of Ergonomics
From Injury Prevention to Peak Performance
By working collaboratively with departments outside of Health and Safety, such as Engineering, Operations and Quality, ergonomics goals can be incorporated in earlier phases of large scale projects to minimize investment while maximizing benefits.
Join us, and our guest speaker, Magdalene Choy with Ergo Inc as she presents:
- Cross-functional benefits of Ergonomics.
- How and when to incorporate Ergonomics into a project timeline.
- Techniques and tools to align Ergonomic goals with company wide business objectives.
- Best practices for fostering cross-departmental communication and engagement.
- Examples of Ergonomics Program metrics for future cost justification of implementation efforts.
- Case studies of successful ergonomics integration in real-world settings.
Magdalene has extensive automotive manufacturing from working with two large automotive manufacturers, where she conducted simulation modelling for ergonomics design reviews and scenario testing, to provide recommendations to engineering design teams and management.
This event may be eligible for BCRSP CPD points. See the BCRSP website at www.bcrsp.ca for CPD point criteria.
