Forklift Pedestrian Safety
Forklifts are useful, but dangerous. Working around them requires constant awareness. Forklift operators will do what they can to do their job safely, but pedestrians must take responsibility for their own safety.
Implementing and maintaining safe practices to prevent incidents between forklifts and pedestrians in the workplace is critical. Join us to discuss identifying applicable hazards and implementing controls including clear communication, designated pedestrian walkways, forklift operator training and the use of visual and auditory warning systems.
