Employment Law: trends and issues you should be aware of
We are pleased to welcome Kelly Vanbuskirk of Lawson Creamer for our yearly ‘what you need to know’ regarding employment law.
During the session we will discuss issues around:
- Stealing time – can employers really sue their employees?
- Employment contracts updates
- Embellishing resumes and job ads – can you really be sued for lying?
- Bullying and harassment (settlement with non-disclosure laws)
This is an opportunity to create awareness for these topics and to see what your peers are doing. Also, we encourage you to ask any questions that may be relevant to your organization. Please feel free to reach out prior to the session as I would be happy to pass on your inquiry to be included in the event.
