Bridging the Gap with EMC's Skills Evolution
Industry & Post-Secondary Collaboration for Future Skills Training
As part of our Level Up: Skills Evolution Project, we invite you to join us for an engaging event on Tuesday, December 3rd, at the Delta Hotels Ottawa City Centre. This event will share the compiled views of leading post-secondary educators (PSE) institutions and national sectoral groups and building collaborative and sustainable partnerships between educators and industry sectors to address Canada’s evolving workforce training needs.
Hosted by EMC in collaboration with BioTalent Canada, the Canadian Agricultural Human Resource Council (CAHRC), the Canadian Council for Aviation & Aerospace (CCAA), and Social Research and Demonstration Corporation (SRDC), this event will feature perspectives from leading post-secondary institutions and national sectoral groups. We’ll share insights from consultations and our Sectoral-PSE marketplace training pilot, sparking discussions on aligning industry and education to meet the skill demands of today and tomorrow.

- Presentation of consultation findings from post-secondary and sectoral groups, along with insights from the project’s Sectoral-PSE training pilot
- Engaging discussions on upskilling and reskilling strategies for employers, with an emphasis on building stronger partnerships between educators and industry
