Problem Solving in the Workplace
EMC’s 4-week Problem Solving in the Workplace program is designed to equip workers with the critical thinking skills and a strategic plan to identify an issue, determine the route cause and develop a solution.
This program gives participants clear direction on how to meaningfully contribute to process improvements in the workplace. Participants will come away with new and improved confidence in problem solving, team collaboration, and time management in the context of continuous improvement as seen though a LEAN lens.
Micro-credential: Upon completion of all requirements, and validation by the facilitator that learning outcomes have been achieved, participants will be issued a Micro-credential in Problem-solving.
Format:
- 4 x 3-hour virtually facilitated sessions over Zoom
- Applied learning through a Workplace Performance Project
- Self-directed eLearning modules
- Total time commitment between 20 and 25 hours
