Heat Stress Awareness

High temperatures are a common component of the manufacturing process, and workers in all industries are often exposed to extreme heat. This course examines a variety of methods for identifying and managing heat stress, and discusses the Health and Safety practices that must be employed to protect labourers from overheating.

Course Summary:

The Heat Stress Awareness training module is designed for personnel who work in environments where temperatures exceed what would be considered normal. Participants will learn about heat stress and how the human body reacts to heat. They will learn to recognize danger signs related to heat for themselves and fellow workers. Upon completion, participants will know how to reduce the risk of suffering from heat related illness and how to treat those affected by them.
