Grain Silo Safety

Grain silos are one of the most common instruments used in food and beverage manufacturing, but their size, weight, and build can make them into serious hazards for unprepared workers. Participants in this course gain a strong understanding of how to safely and effectively store, transport, and utilize grain silos.

Featured

This grain silo safety course is designed for personnel who work in and around grain silos and bins. Although there are many similar hazards associated with silage or forage silos, this course is not intended as training for either forage or air-tight silage silos. Participants will learn about hazards associated with grain silos and what protective measures need to be taken to avoid accidents and injuries.
