Developing Pull Systems
A “pull system” is the process by which employees take on new tasks immediately following their completion of existing ones. In the Kanban method of workplace organization, a “pull system” is the process by which employees take on new tasks immediately following their completion of existing ones. Pull systems can be valuable additions to a properly-functioning workplace using the Kanban methodology, but must be properly implemented to prevent worker disillusionment and loss of productivity.
Throughout this course, participants gain a full understanding of pull systems — including their relationship with Kanban organization structures, their impact on workplace productivity, and common implementation strategies — as well as a thorough explanation of how utilizing these processes can strengthen all aspects of a business’s output.
