How to build an effective Ergonomics and Injury Prevention Program
The Keys to Successful Ergonomics Program Planning
Join us to discover what employers should consider to ensure staff are protected from musculoskeletal disorder hazards, and set up for optimal productivity and work satisfaction.
Participants will be provided with practical ergonomic tips on how to implement the key program components, such as how to create an MSD Prevention Policy, how to select appropriate ergonomic assessment tools, and what types of ergonomic training should be provided to employees.
Points of discussion will include:
- The role of management and importance of ergonomics policies
- Promoting worker participation and a participative ergonomics approach
- Broadening your risk identification strategies
- Implementing changes and evaluating implementation efforts
- Employee training
ERGO Inc. will provide participants with an “ERGO Program Audit” to evaluate their current Ergonomic Program. The results of this Audit will identify gaps in their Program and guide them towards what strategies and implementation plans they should consider to ensure a sustainable and effective Ergonomic process in their workplace.
Participants will also be provided with ERGO posters and informational Toolkit cards, links to existing ergonomic checklists, templates, and injury prevention resources to assist them with the continual improvement of their ergonomic and injury prevention program.
