MBRP Performance Exhaust
MBRP Performance Exhaust began its journey, with the passion of performance, with Martin Barkey in 1996 in the village of Burks Falls. Focused primarily on lightweight performance exhaust for snowmobiles, Barkey hit the road knocking on dealers’ doors and displaying at the world-famous Eagle River Derby in Wisconsin, sharing with eager enthusiasts, the product his father created based on his experience with aftermarket motorcycle exhaust that he manufactured.
Fast forward 25 years, and the company has over 150 employees, operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day in Huntsville, ON, producing not only snowmobile exhaust, but exhaust systems and components for ATV’s, side by sides, diesel and gas trucks, muscle, sport compact, euro and exotic cars for customers across North America and select countries around the globe. Barkey has invested significant time in track testing the products to ensure their durability, along with finding that sweet sound that appeals to the market; not too loud, not too quiet, throatier and throttle responsive. He installs and tests these systems, ensuring that they are easy to install for do-it-yourselfers alike. Barkey and his team of outstanding employees are constantly creating new products, and defining new processes to ensure that the brand is what the consumers want.
As the company moves forward, MBRP is back to its roots as the Barkey family has the third generation coming through the ranks of manufacturing performance exhaust with son Joshua leading the team with continued investment in manufacturing process improvements alongside customer and new product development to keep the brand at the top of the market.
